Aleksandra Anić participated in the International Conference on Economics, Finance & Business, held in Vienna from 1 to 3 September 2026 and organized by the International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences (IISES).
She presented the paper “Work in urban, but breathe and hear in rural areas. Socioeconomic determinants of environmental exposure across European countries” within the session Labour Economics, Economic Education, Environmental Economics. During the discussion, she received valuable comments related to the results for Malta, which were subsequently incorporated into the final version of the paper accepted for publication in the journal Stanovništvo.
The conference also offered important opportunities for professional networking. Aleksandra established contact with keynote speaker Hamed Ghiaie (ESCP Business School, France), who expressed interest in organizing a joint conference in collaboration with the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business.
