Aleksandra Anić, a member of the POPENVIROS project team, had the great pleasure of attending the Summer School of Advanced Economics from June 22 to 27 on the island of Spetses, Greece. The lecturers at the School included Jeffrey M. Wooldridge, a distinguished professor at Michigan State University, and Pedro Sant’Anna, an associate professor at Emory University, USA. In addition to outstanding lectures, the School provided an excellent opportunity to meet students and professors from various universities across Europe and beyond. Aleksandra believes that Professor Wooldridge may be a future Nobel Prize laureate in economics for his contributions to the development of econometrics, and she is proud to have had the opportunity to learn from him over several days.
